With the AT-PCI-SRC-Custom we can have the ruggedness of a resolver and digital simplicity of an encoder interface. We can use this product to interface with almost any resolver. There is a common on-board oscillator(programmable for standard frequencies in the range of 400Hz to 10 KHz) which generates the excitation/reference to on-board converters and feeds to externally connected resolvers. This eliminates the need for an external excitation to resolvers. The Resolver channel is provided with input conditioning to handle 2Vrms resolver inputs.
